Located within the grounds of Upper Woodlands, The Sedum Spa is shared between our properties, bringing the spa hotel experience to the self-catering sector.

The cost for using the spa building is included in the price for the accommodation. To further compliment your spa experience, we offer guests the opportunity to pre-book spa treatments with one of our qualified therapists, subject to availability.
The spa is open from 6:30am and closes at 8:30pm. You can check availability here. Please contact our office to reserve a 2 hour spa session in advance.

Our Therapists
We have a fantastic team of Therapists at The Sedum Spa providing treatments that leave you feeling relaxed and rested during your stay. Sophie and Immy are our Head Therapists. With a combined experience of over twenty years, they have the knowledge and passion required to enable them to deliver incredible treatments to you and your party.
Booking
To ensure availability please book as far in advance of your stay with us as possible. The therapists can get very booked up, especially on weekends. You can do this by contacting us by email: [email protected] or by phone on 01935 840964.
Cancellation policy
To avoid being charged 100% of the treatment cost, appointments must be cancelled 2 days before treatment time.
Payment
Full payment is due upon booking. This can be made by Bank Transfer. Please request bank details upon booking.
Arrival
Please arrive 15 min before your treatment and ensure that you bring appropriate swimwear as you will need to make your way from the changing rooms to the treatment rooms via the pool area. Please bring a towel and gown to the Spa before getting changed.
Valuables
We strongly recommend that you leave any valuables at home, and we cannot be held responsible for any loss incurred.
Spa Etiquette
Clients are requested to wear suitable attire at all times during treatments. During treatments, therapists are trained to respect clients modesty at all times. If you are using the Spa you will be requested to wear appropriate swimwear in the pool area. Our aim at The Sedum Spa is to create a tranquil atmosphere for all our guests, to make this possible we ask you to keep all noise to a minimum whilst in the Spa.
Treatments
Treatments will take place in one of our four treatment rooms located in the Sedum Spa by a therapist that is experienced, fully trained and insured. Each room is private and will provide a tranquil environment for your therapy. Before your treatment, please wait in the seating area surrounding the pool and the therapist will come and find you. Please do not go in search of the therapist as you may inadvertently disturb someone else during their treatment. You will then be asked to complete a short questionnaire before the treatment begins.
Medical Questionnaire
Should you or your guests/party have any medical conditions, which may prevent you from having treatments, we advise you to speak to your GP before you arrive at The Sedum Spa. A doctor’s note may be requested to clear any person with a known condition for treatments. All guests are required to complete a medical questionnaire before having any treatments.
Drinks
There is a hot drinks machine available and an honesty box for payment so please bring some change. There are also chilled bottles of water available.
Group Spa Slots
The spa is a shared facility and we ask that groups reserve a 2 hour Spa Slot in advance. These can be booked on any or all of the days of your stay. Let us know the dates and times you would like to have Spa Slots and we will book these for you. To check current availability you can view the Spa Timetable on our Website.
Massage
A combination of Swedish and deep tissue techniques tailored to suit your specific needs, with pressure as firm or as gentle as you would like. Using locally made Songbird Naturals products.
Back, neck and shoulder massage
Duration: 25 minutes. Cost: £40
Foot and leg massage
Duration: 25 minutes. Cost: £40
Scalp, neck and décolleté massage
Duration: 25 minutes. Cost: £40
Full Body Massage
Duration: 55 minutes. Cost: £70
Mum-to-be Full Body Massage*
A soothing, side lying massage using nourishing organic rose and jojoba oil. Includes only an application of oil to the bump, no massage to this area.
Duration: 55 minutes. Cost: £75
Mum-to-be back Massage*
Duration: 25 minutes. Cost: £45
*Available upon request as not all Therapists are trained in pregnancy massage.
Facials
Pinks Boutique facials – Organic, award winning products made in the UK. Luxurious, organic skincare making your daily skin and body routines a pleasure. Pinks Boutique products will envelop you in their captivating aromas, opulent textures and long lasting results without chemicals, harm to the environment or questionable ethics.
Express Facial
Includes a cleanse, exfoliation, mask and short scalp massage, finished with a moisturiser to suit your skin’s specific needs.
Duration: 25 minutes. Cost: £40
Spa Facial
As above, with the addition of a rejuvenating facial massage and a longer scalp and décolleté massage.
Duration: 55 minutes. Cost: £70
Back, neck and shoulder massage AND a 25 minute Facial
Duration: 25 minutes. Cost: £70
Please note: You must be over the age of 18 to have any of these treatments. We are unable to safely carry out any treatment including mum-to-be treatments on any pregnant guests in the first trimester. We will have medical questionnaires ready for you to fill out prior to your treatment
